Today is not lost

Welcome to January 6th, 2009. Today will never happen again. Will you remember it? Or will it be lost – shuffled to the back of your collective unconscious with all the other days of no particular importance?

We here at myDailyPhoto believe that life is too short and too valuable for any day to be lost. That’s why we’ve developed useful tools to help you create and share daily memories. Tools like daily reminders to take a photo, applications that let you upload photos directly from your mobile phone, widgets to share on your social networks – even our exclusive 365 posters that put your entire year-in-photos on your wall at home or work.

So we invite you to join us. A daily collection of photos is a powerful reminder of where you’ve been, and an all-new perspective on where you’re going. Stop and smell the roses. Then take out your camera and photograph those roses. They’ve helped define your day – we’ll help you remember them.

Remembering Jamie Livingston

Jamie Livingston was a photographer, a filmmaker, and to us an inspiration. He took a Polaroid photo every day of his life from 1979 until his death in 1997.

Photo by anonymous photo, we learn about Jamie – his life, love, career and ultimately his losing battle with cancer – through a stunning collection of faded, grainy snapshots.

It’s a collection of singular moments that define an entire life. He taught us that life is not a collection of sporadic special occasions. Life doesn’t only take place when you look your best or are out on the town with friends. Life takes place every day. Life is details, and it’s ultimately those details that define you.

Remember Jamie with us by checking out his collection of photos here.
365 Posters

Memories are just so much better when you can see them with your eyes instead of trying to visualize them with that faulty thing called your memory. So why not have a huge poster showing what you've done in the past year hanging on your wall?

It will be a reminder of the good times, those boring days you were stuck at work, and that really bad hook-up you had at that one show with the chick who was standing in front of that one band's merch table.

Your friends will be jealous!
